Brighton based Elaine Bolt is a ceramic artist working with ceramics and mixed media, creating works and compositions guided by a sense of narrative and steeped in the context of the local surroundings. Her work includes hand-built framed objects and thrown vessels in porcelain, terracotta, local clays and mixed-media.
Elaine is an alumni of the Crafts Council’s Hothouse scheme (2014) and she recently co-ran the Arts Council funded collaborative project Making Ground. Elaine is also currently Lecturer in Ceramics at the University of Brighton.
